2015 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2015 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 4,300 times in 2015. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 4 trips to carry that many people.

When Wisdom Tooth is Creating Pain Like Crazy

I would like to begin by saying that I’m not a dentist. I just want to share my experience, observations and steps  on how I battled pain due to a growing wisdom tooth. Continue reading “When Wisdom Tooth is Creating Pain Like Crazy”

Mt. Ayaas

Mt. Ayaas, standing ∼627 masl, is the highest among the 5 mountains open to hikers in Brgy. Mascap and Brgy. San Rafael areas. I thought that Mt. Ayaas also had stone formations just like Mt. Pamitinan, Mt. Binacayan, Mt. Sipit Ulang, and Mt. Hapunang Banoi making it more difficult because we had to negotiate climbing and descending through rough-textured rocks longer. But I was wrong.  Continue reading “Mt. Ayaas”

Typhoon Onyok was moving across the country somewhere in the South. Continue reading “Reaching Out to the Hard to Reach, the Hard Way”

Mt. Sipit Ulang

A planned day hike to Mt. Ayaas at Brgy. Mascap, Rodriguez, Rizal, Philippines turned out to be an unexpected ∼21 Km traverse twin (Mt. Sipit Ulang-Mt. Ayaas) day hike. Continue reading “Mt. Sipit Ulang”

It’s Meet and Greet Weekend at Dream Big!!

Ok so here are the rules:

  1. Leave a link to your page or post in the comments of this post.
  2. Reblog this post.  It helps you, it helps me, it helps everyone!  So don’t be selfish, hit the reblog button.
  3. Edit your reblog post and add tags (i.e. reblogging, reblog, meet n greet, link party, etc.), it helps, trust me on this one.
  4. Share this post on social media.  Many of my non-blogger friends love that I put the Meet n Greet on Facebook and Twitter because they find new bloggers to follow.  This helps also, trust me.

Now that all the rules have been clearly explained get out there and Meet n Greet your butts off!

See ya Monday!

Segunda Mana

Segunda mano is a Spanish phrase, also used in the Philippines, that means secondhand. It describes something as previously owned and passed on to another.

There was a Filipino horror film in 2011 that is entitled Segunda Mano, starred by Dingdong Dantes, Kris Aquino and Angelica Panganiban. Continue reading “Segunda Mana”
